UIDexpress - Permanent Marking Solutions
- IMI UIDexpress uses a laser additive marking technology that enables permanent direct part marking and life cycle tracking of items made of metals, ceramics, glass and plastics that withstand extremes of heat, acids and other harsh agents. Ideal for prototype to medium quantity volumes.
- Army and Air Force depot maintenance testing of IMI�s bar coded stainless steel #304 and #316 tags and name plates demonstrated the lifetime durability of laser additive bonded barcodes. Tested at temperatures over 1000o F, acid-cleaning baths, strong solvents and physical abuse the barcode and human readable text on the stainless steel burr tags remained.
- IMI UIDexpress produces aluminum MetalPhoto technology for name plates and AL foil labels that are long lasting and durable for many asset identification applications. MetalPhoto name plates are less in cost in medium to high quantities.
- IMI UIDexpress also produces a novel thermal printed label with protective over laminate extending beyond the base label dimensions enabling a longer service life under harsh conditions.
